I have worked for international clients. I'm mostly self-taught. Graduated December 2012 with a BCGD (Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design).

Angelus, a dark fantasy which revolves around a tortured Angel, a boy losing his mind, a weapon made of twisted evil, and an empire on the brink of destruction.

My art page, for those who are on fb!…
We've all heard it before. We know what successful people do. We know how they don't waste time. We hear it over and over again.

So why the hell don't we take this information to heart?

I'm changing my work ethic. Or rather, lack thereof. And I'm calling on all of you to join me. I'm putting down some steps, which, if followed, will add hours of free time to our days.

1: No facebook, no social media, no dA. Admit it, these do not lead to success in our art, our work, or even our love life (well, I hope not o.O). Thirty days without social media.
2: Exercise. Yes, I'm adding physical activity. Being physically fit is necessary for general health, mental well-being, and balance. Thirty days of working out.
3: Sleep. Yes, I'm going to sleep. Bed before 1AM, rise at 8:45. Thirty days of sleeping properly.

Three simple steps, focusing on self improvement over thirty days. If you've read this far, then I encourage you to join me and make this next month the start of building your dreams, and making them a reality. Life is ours, so let's get out there and blow everyone's minds!

List suggestions below in comments. I'm also drinking water every two hours, stretching from the computer every 20 minutes, and writing down my next day's goals every night. :)

Edit: My New Workday. (Please note, I am out of a job atm, meaning this should be my time to improve most!)

8:45 - Get up, make bed, check to do list.
9:00 - Start working out. I will workout Monday-Tuesday, then Thursday-Friday.
9:45 - Grab breakfast and a coffee.
10:00 - Art practice! I have a different practice task each day.
12:00 - Lunch, coffee, fresh air.
1:00 - Art, client or personal.
2:30 - Break and coffee/tea.
2:45 - Write my novel.
4:00 - Break, coffee/tea, fresh air.
4:15 - Art, client or personal.
6:00 - End of day, coffee/tea, dinner, relax.
8:00 - Write my novel.
9:00 - Knock off for the night, chill with my girlfriend, read, watch a movie.
1:00 - Bed, no buts. Sleep earlier if I am tired.

Breaks can include Youtube/Facebook, but I won't be doing that. I have also downloaded a reminder program for my PC (and it is VERY customisable) which reminds me when to do each of these things. Spend an hour or two setting one up, and it will help you to focus!

Edit 2: Paul Gerrard is working so so hard on his book, Company of Shadows. It is incredibly epic!…

Now I know we aren't all made of hundred dollar bills which grew on trees, but please buy a copy of the book (it's $50, and it's freaking amazing). If you can't do that, then share the link, and invite friends and family to buy it! Or invite them to buy it for you!

This is your chance to make someone's dream happen. One day it could be you in the same shoes. So let's do this!
